Converge appoints Park Weongi to board, aims for tech transition

CONVERGE ICT Solutions, Inc. announced that Park Weongi, former CEO of NAVER Cloud, has joined its board of directors.

Converge appointed Mr. Park on July 8 to support the company's transition from connectivity services to digital infrastructure and technology services.

Mr. Park will serve on the Board Risk Oversight Committee and the Remuneration Committee, replacing Francis Ed. Lim who was recently appointed chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Park’s experience in scaling NAVER Cloud’s business and navigating technology markets is expected to inform Converge's strategy in digital platforms, data centers, cloud services, and AI solutions.

Converge also announced Arlene San Juan as its new treasurer while Christine R. Blabagno was designated chief risk officer and deputy chief financial officer.
