Comelec suspends voter certifications issuance Sept 30

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) suspended the issuance of voter certifications and registration records on Monday, September 30 to focus on the final day of voter registration nationwide.

In a resolution promulgated on September 25, Comelec announced that local election offices would prioritize applicants during this period.

Residents in Metro Manila can obtain their voter's certification or record at the National Central File Division of the Election Records and Statistics Department located in Ermita, Manila.

The suspension aims to ensure all applicants within their jurisdiction are accommodated and maintain order on the last day of registration.

Comelec reminded eligible voters to register at the office of the election officer or satellite registration office from Mondays to Saturdays, including holidays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
