Comelec prints over 53M ballots for Eleksyon 2025

As of Monday, March 3, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) has completed printing more than 53 million ballots for Eleksyon 2025.

The total number of printed ballots stands at 53,418,068 or 76.58% of the required 72 million, with around 18.58 million still needing to be printed.

Of these, South Korean election systems provider Miru Systems Inc. contributed 26,405,051 ballots and the National Printing Office (NPO) provided 27,013,017.

Comelec Chairperson George Erwin Garcia expects ballot printing to be completed by March 19, ahead of their previous target date of April 14.

Verification of around 12.8 million printed ballots is underway at the Amoranto Sports Complex in Quezon City, which has been made available free-of-charge until April 30 for this purpose.
