Comelec plans public demo of health protocols for symptomatic voters

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) plans to conduct a public demonstration of health protocols for voters showing coronavirus symptoms during the May 9 election.

Election Commissioner Aimee Torrefranca-Neri said isolation polling places will be set up in voting sites, separated booths or classrooms for symptomatic voters.

Comelec is also forming a medical advisory board to provide support and develop timely policies amid the pandemic.
