Comelec hopeful of BBM-Sara debate attendance

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) remains hopeful that Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Sara Duterte will participate in the PiliPinas Debates 2022 starting March 19.

As of Sunday, nine out of ten presidential candidates have confirmed their attendance at the debates, including Leni Robredo, Manny Pacquiao, Isko Moreno, Panfilo Lacson, and others.

Marcos' camp has not yet finalized whether he will attend the debates, but Comelec spokesperson Jimenez said it is fine if they decide to skip them.
