Comelec conducts mock election for BARMM polls

On Saturday, July 26, 2025, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) conducted a mock election in Intramuros to prepare for the upcoming BARMM Parliamentary Elections scheduled for October 13.

Representatives from various organizations such as PPCRV, NAMFREL, LENTE, and regional political parties observed the proceedings at the Monitoring Center in Palacio del Gobernador.

Eight clustered precincts participated in the mock voting event, with each precinct simulating 50 voters, totaling 400 participants.

Voting concluded by 10:00 AM, after which Comelec closely monitored the transmission of votes from all eight precincts.

By 11:08 AM, Comelec successfully completed canvassing and ensured that all systems were functioning properly to prevent any technical disruptions during the actual elections.
