Coldplay ends Philippine tour at Philippine Arena with local collabs

British rock band Coldplay concluded their two-night concert series in the Philippines with a final performance at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.

On Saturday night, Chris Martin invited Filipino band Lola Amour to join Coldplay on stage for a surprise collaboration of 'Raining in Manila', which was described by Lola Amour as 'surreal'.

The concerts were attended by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Marcos, along with other celebrities such as Maine Mendoza and her husband Arjo Atayde.

After the shows, Coldplay released a 38-second montage of photos and videos featuring popular Manila tourist spots and snippets from their concert performances.

Among the songs performed during the concerts were 'Something Like This,' 'Sky Full of Stars,' 'Yellow,' 'Fix You,' 'Paradise,' and 'Viva La Vida'.

Coldplay also shared the stage with local band Dilaw on the second night for a performance of their hit single 'Uhaw', described by Dilaw as a surreal experience.

The band expressed gratitude to Filipino fans on X (formerly Twitter), thanking them for two incredible nights of music, with many celebrities sharing their joy and appreciation.
