PAGASA: Rains over parts of Luzon due to frontal system, amihan

The tail-end of a frontal system and the northeast monsoon (amihan) will bring rains over parts of Luzon, according to PAGASA's latest weather update.

Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, and Aurora are expected to have scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the tail-end of a frontal system, while Batanes and the Babuyan Islands will experience light rains from amihan.

The Cordillera Administrative Region and Ilocos region will see isolated light rains caused by amihan, with Metro Manila and the rest of the country experiencing isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms and easterlies.
