Classes suspended in northern Quezon due to Tropical Depression Maymay

Classes at all levels were suspended on Wednesday, October 12, in northern Quezon province due to Tropical Depression Maymay.

The local governments of Infanta, General Nakar, Real, Panukulan, Burdeos, Patnanungan, Jomalig and Polillo announced the suspension of classes from preschool to Grade 12 in public and private schools.

Panukulan also suspended work in the municipal government while Polillo announced the class suspension on Tuesday night.

In September, northern Quezon suffered widespread devastation due to Supertyphoon Karding (Noru).

PAGASA reported Maymay was last located 305 km east of Baler, Aurora with maximum sustained winds of 45 kph and gustiness up to 55 kph.
