Iloilo mayor self-quarantines after Covid exposure

Iloilo City Mayor Jerry P. Treñas is on a 14-day self-quarantine following exposure to a confirmed COVID-19 patient.

The mayor was present at an event where donations of personal protective equipment were turned over, and one employee from AC Energy Corporation who attended the event later tested positive for COVID-19.

Mayor Treñas previously called on city hall employees to continue praying amid rising local transmission cases in Iloilo City.
