Cignal HD Spikers win Open Conference title for third straight year

Cignal HD Spikers secured their victory over Criss Cross and claimed their third straight Open Conference title on Sunday, April 6, at the PhilSports Arena.

Despite previous struggles against Criss Cross during the season, Cignal managed to win Game 3 with a score of 25-22, 25-16, and 28-26, finishing the series with a 3-1 record.

Steven Rotter led the team with 15 points and was named Finals MVP for his performance, while Louie Ramirez also contributed 15 points.

Jude Garcia, who won his third consecutive MVP award, scored 12 points for Criss Cross but could not prevent their loss in Game 3.

Cignal HD Spikers overcame a 19-15 deficit in the decisive third set with key contributions from Jau Umandal and Lloyd Josafat's eight-point performance.
