Chot: Takes a village to stop Karl-Anthony Towns

Gilas Pilipinas head coach Chot Reyes and team captain Japeth Aguilar emphasized that stopping NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns will require a collective effort.

Reyes stated during a press conference on Thursday at Araneta Coliseum that it is not physically possible for any single player to stop Towns one-on-one, so it 'takes a village' to beat the Dominican Republic in the 2023 FIBA World Cup.

Towns, who has not played for the Dominican national team in ten years but decided to participate in this year's World Cup, remains a key player to watch.
