Choco Mucho wins with unity despite Rondina's absence

Choco Mucho faces challenges in the PVL On Tour without key players like Sisi Rondina who has returned to Alas Pilipinas.

Captain Des Cheng praised the team's unity and desire to win, with rookies Jen Villegas and Ayesha Juegos stepping up during their 25-19, 13-25, 25-22, 25-20 victory over Galeries Tower on Saturday.

Cheng emphasized that everyone on the court is a leader in their own way, backstopping Isa Molde who tallied 20 points while Cheng herself scored 13 points with 11 digs and five excellent receptions.

Coach Dante Alinsunurin expressed gratitude for the opportunity to build connections through the PVL On Tour, which also helps inspire more kids to play volleyball in different provinces.

Choco Mucho will face Nxled on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. in Batangas City as they continue their preseason campaign.
