CHED: HEIs in Alert Level 3 may start limited face-to-face classes Jan 31

CHED announced that higher education institutions (HEIs) in Alert Level 3 areas can start limited face-to-face classes by January 31.

During a meeting with over 200 HEIs, CHED chair Prospero De Vera said many schools decided to open in February if conditions allow.

Other schools will initially conduct online classes and shift to limited in-person classes as the situation improves.

Despite the announcement, some netizens criticized the decision due to rising COVID-19 cases nationwide.
