Tiu steps down from Converge to focus on St. Benilde

Charles Tiu has stepped down from his position as assistant coach for Converge in the PBA Commissioner's Cup.

Tiu cited the need to focus more on coaching the College of St. Benilde's men's basketball team in the NCAA and other personal commitments, including spending time with his wife.

During Tiu's tenure with Converge, the team had one of its most successful runs in recent years, finishing with an 8-4 record before being eliminated in the quarterfinals by Rain or Shine.

Tiu expressed his intention to concentrate on leading St. Benilde's team in NCAA Season 101, aiming for redemption after narrowly missing out on winning Season 100.

While Tiu is committed to focusing on the upcoming NCAA season, he remains open to future opportunities beyond this tournament.
