CEU beats WCC-ATC, ends three-game losing streak

Centro Escolar University (CEU) secured its first win of the season by defeating WCC-Aeronautical and Technological College (WCC-ATC), 83-62, in the UCAL-PGFlex Linoleum 7th Season on Saturday, February 8.

After a slow start with only 15 combined points in the first quarter, CEU surged ahead in the second quarter with strong performances from Christ Jay Singson and Israel Friday.

CEU continued to dominate throughout the game, with Danieyel Contaoi and Gabrielle Gaboa also contributing significantly as the team ended a three-game losing streak.

In another matchup, Diliman College narrowly defeated Immaculada Concepcion College (ICC), 70-65, with John Bernard Parista scoring five crucial points in the final minute to secure the victory.

Parista finished with 16 points for Diliman College, while Matthew Calilong made four key free throws late in the game to seal the win.
