Cessna training crash in Iba injures four

A Cessna training aircraft crashed in Iba, Zambales on Friday morning, leaving four people injured but safe after receiving medical attention at President Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Hospital.

The plane departed from Subic and was conducting a training flight when the crash occurred near Barangay Lipay-Dingin-Panibutan.

CAAP has launched an investigation into the incident and ordered the suspension of all flight training operations for seven days by Topflite Academy of Aviation Inc. (TAAI).

The flight instructor and student pilots involved have been administratively grounded to ensure the independence of the investigation being conducted by the Aircraft Accident Investigation and Inquiry Board.

CAAP has summoned TAAI's quality manager, safety manager, and other relevant personnel for further explanation regarding the incident.
