Cebu under state of preparedness over novel coronavirus threat

Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia signed an executive order on Tuesday placing the province under a state of preparedness due to the threat of novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV).

The provincial government has designated four public facilities as quarantine areas for Filipinos returning from mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau.

These facilities include Eversly Child Sanitarium in Consolacion, Mandaue General Hospital, New Life Facility in Pinamungajan, and Women and Children Development Center in Lahug, with a total capacity of 250 people.
