Cebu Pacific, CAE expand joint venture with new A330neo simulator

Cebu Pacific and CAE Inc. are expanding their joint venture by deploying a new full-flight simulator (FFS) for the Airbus A330neo, scheduled to be operational by December 2026.

The expansion was announced in a stock exchange filing on Wednesday, part of an agreement made at the Paris Air Show on June 18, 2025.

Cebu Pacific COO Javier Massot highlighted that as the largest operator of A330neo aircraft in Asia, this new simulator will enhance training capacity and support safe operations.

The airline currently operates an extensive fleet including 11 Airbus A330neos, 39 Airbus A320s, 26 Airbus A321s, and 15 ATR turboprops.

CAE Philippines aims to provide world-class pilot training solutions and support Cebu Pacific's network expansion and widebody fleet growth.

The new simulator will complement the existing A320 and ATR 72-600 simulators at Cebu Pacific's Clark training center, which was established in partnership with CAE in 2011.
