Cebu doc tops med board exam with 87.75%

Adrian Eleazar Go from Cebu Institute of Medicine topped the recent Physician Licensure Examination with an 87.75 percent score.

Out of 3,827 test takers, 1,901 passed the exam held in March across various centers in the Philippines.

Xavier University had the highest pass rate among schools with 50 or more examinees, as 46 out of its 57 students from the university passed.

Joseph Benjamin Shea Perez from the University of Santo Tomas took second place with an 87.25 percent score, while Aaron Terence Dela Cruz Ibe and Kyle Patrick Rivera Magistrado, also from UST, tied for third place with a score of 87.08 percent.

The Professional Regulation Commission noted that results for two examinees were withheld pending further investigation.
