CEB wins Best Airline at Routes Asia Awards

Gokongwei-led Cebu Pacific (CEB) won the Best Airline category at the 2025 Routes Asia Awards, reflecting the strength of its network strategy and partnerships with airport partners and stakeholders, according to CEB president Xander Lao.

In 2024, CEB launched 28 new routes, comprising 19 domestic and nine international services, connecting passengers to popular destinations like Chiang Mai, Kaohsiung, and Sapporo.

The airline established new hubs in Davao and Iloilo, enhancing connectivity alongside its existing key hubs in Manila, Cebu, and Clark.

Tanya Rabat-Tan, Regional Director of the Department of Tourism XI, commended CEB for boosting tourism and economic growth in Davao through improved accessibility.

CEB also announced a historic purchase order of 152 Airbus aircraft, the largest in Philippine aviation history, as part of its long-term plan to modernize its fleet and meet rising demand for air travel.
