Castro praises Ginebra rookie Abarrientos

TNT veteran Jayson Castro praised Barangay Ginebra rookie RJ Abarrientos for his impressive performance in the PBA playoffs and finals.

Castro believes that after two to three years, Abarrientos will dominate the guard position, noting that he is already performing at a higher level than when Castro started his career.

Abarrientos averaged 14.6 points during the Governors' Cup eliminations and won the KBL Rookie of the Year award in Korea, showcasing his talent both locally and internationally.

Despite being limited to an average of 6.0 points in the first two games of the finals, Abarrientos has garnered respect from veterans like Castro for his overall performance.

Game 3 of the best-of-seven finale between TNT and Ginebra is scheduled for Friday, November 1, at 7:30 pm.
