Yulo moves on from Baku loss, focuses on Tokyo

World champion gymnast Carlos Yulo is moving forward after underperforming at the FIG Apparatus World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan.

GAP president Cynthia Carrion assured there are no concerns for Yulo's performance at the Tokyo Olympics as he continues to train hard and study his competitors.

Yulo placed 26th in parallel bars and 14th in vault due to a bad landing.

Carrion revealed that Yulo will not compete in his signature floor exercise event in the World Cup, focusing instead on developing new skills for a 'surprise' performance at the Tokyo Olympics.
