She described herself as 'practically perimenopausal' at 37 due to abnormal hormone levels and high cortisol levels, despite efforts like fasting and regular workouts which failed to manage her condition.

After consulting multiple doctors and undergoing numerous tests, Carla found success with a specific diet plan in October 2023 that led to noticeable weight loss of about 18 pounds over five months.

Carla emphasized the importance of patience and perseverance in managing her hypothyroidism without relying on shortcuts or quick fixes.

Recently, she was hospitalized due to kidney stones and a urinary tract infection, conditions sometimes associated with hypothyroidism.
