Caritas Philippines aids 250 families hit by Mindoro oil spill

Caritas Philippines, the humanitarian arm of the CBCP, has committed to assist 250 families affected by the oil spill in Oriental Mindoro.

Food packs are being prepared for distribution to the most affected coastal communities.

A meeting is scheduled on March 14 at St. Augustine Parish Pinamalayan to finalize the list of beneficiaries.

The Lipa Archdiocesan Social Action Commission and CEED will also provide food items and emergency assistance.
