CALAX on track for Q3 2025 completion, 64% done

The Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), a 44.57-kilometer stretch, is on track to be completed by the third quarter of next year, providing better connectivity within the CALABARZON region.

MPCALA Holdings Inc., a subsidiary of Metro Pacific Tollways Corp., reports that the project currently stands at a 64% completion rate with ongoing works including excavation, bridge and drainage construction, and fence installation.

The Governor's Drive Interchange segment in Cavite is set to be completed by the first quarter of next year, easing traffic congestion on major roads such as Aguinaldo Highway in Silang.

MPCALA Holdings President Raul Ignacio emphasized that once operational, this vital infrastructure will provide faster routes for thousands of motorists and stimulate economic growth across Cavite and CALABARZON.

Two other major segments, the Open Canal and Kawit interchanges, are expected to be finished by the third quarter of next year, alongside the connection to Manila-Cavite Expressway (Cavitex) via the Cavitex-Calax Link project.
