CAAP, BCDA sign MOA for Clark airport air traffic systems

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) and Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) signed an agreement on Tuesday for the operation and maintenance of air traffic systems at Clark International Airport.

Under the memorandum, CAAP will manage communications, navigation, and surveillance facilities that enable accurate aircraft location data during operations.

The BCDA will fund procurement costs and ancillary equipment upkeep while CAAP handles operations and maintenance.

CAAP Director General Raul L. Del Rosario stated in a Wednesday statement that this agreement ensures air traffic services are maintained to the highest standards of excellence and efficiency.

This partnership is part of CAAP's commitment to improving passenger experience at Clark International Airport with more efficient flight operations and reduced delays.
