Bustamante, Estiola out of Las Vegas 10-Ball Open

Francisco 'Django' Bustamante and Mark Estiola exited the 2025 Las Vegas 10-Ball Open on Saturday (Philippine time) after losing their final matches in the losers' qualification.

Bustamante, at age 61, first defeated Canada's Randal Bagot with a score of 4-2, 1-4, and 4-1 before succumbing to Polish player Mateusz Sniegocki by a score of 4-2, 4-3.

Estiola also struggled despite an initial victory over American Tony Chohan with scores of 4-2, 4-2; he then lost to Peruvian Gerson Martinez Boza in a one hour and fifty-three minute match by a score of 4-2, 4-1.

Roberto Gomez and Jeff De Luna maintained their competitive edge with hard-fought wins over Norway's Emil Gangflot and the US's Tim Tonjum respectively earlier on Saturday (Philippine time).

Gomez and De Luna will face Polish players Daniel Maciol and Mateusz Sniegocki in their next matches, while Bustamante and Estiola's exit means they no longer have upcoming faceoffs against Canadian Randal Bagot and American Tony Chohan.
