Bonifacio regrets Finals performance due to foot injury

Mapua forward Warren Bonifacio expressed regret over his performance in Mapua's loss to San Beda in the NCAA Season 99 men's basketball Finals due to a torn ankle ligament.

Bonifacio revealed he had been playing with an injured ATFL and PTFL in his right ankle since the second round of the elimination stage, affecting his play throughout the series.

Despite the injury, Bonifacio was named to the Mythical Team for averaging 10.5 points and 5.9 rebounds per game during the season.
