Blazers, Generals advance to Pinoyliga Next Man UP finals

College of St. Benilde (Blazers) and Emilio Aguinaldo College (Generals) advanced to the Pinoyliga Next Man UP finals after winning their respective games Thursday, April 24, at Enderun Colleges gym in Taguig City.

The Blazers secured a 75-67 victory over New Era University Hunters with key contributions from Jio Gonzaga, Shawn Umali, and Jericho Jalalon, who held the Hunters to just 38.5% shooting from the field.

Meanwhile, the Generals edged out La Salle Green Archers by a score of 86-83, led by EJ Castillo, Jearolan Omandac, and Marvin James Raymundo.

CSB's defense was crucial in limiting New Era to just 27-of-70 shooting from the field, while EAC managed to secure their victory despite La Salle's strong performance.

The finals match-up between CSB and EAC will take place on May 4 at the same venue.
