Blackpink to debut new song during July 5-6 Goyang concert

YG Entertainment has confirmed that Blackpink will debut a new song during their upcoming 'Deadline' world tour concerts in Goyang, South Korea on July 5 and 6.

The group recently released a trailer showcasing the members together again, riding in a bright pink convertible and featuring solo shots reminiscent of cowboy and old Hollywood films.

This release will be Blackpink's first new music since their 'Born Pink' album in September 2022, which included singles like 'Shut Down' and 'Pink Venom'.

YG Entertainment has stated that after much deliberation over the best way to announce the new release, they decided it would be most meaningful to premiere the song at the Goyang concert.

Details about the new song - including its title, genre, and concept - remain under wraps, though reports suggest Blackpink is filming a music video in Korea.

Blackpink's 'Deadline' tour will continue with 7 shows in South Korea before moving on to 31 additional concerts across 16 cities including Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, and the Philippine Arena in November.
