Blackpink announces 2025 world tour, details pending

K-pop group Blackpink has announced that they will be embarking on a world tour in 2025 through an official video teaser posted by their agency YG Entertainment.

The teaser featured clips of the group's previous concerts with the text 'BLACKPINK 2025 World Tour' displayed, but specific details such as dates and locations are yet to be disclosed.

Blackpink last performed in the Philippines during their Born Pink world tour in 2023 at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan for two consecutive nights.

In recent months, each member of Blackpink has been releasing solo music: Rosé with her album 'Rosie' in December 2024, and Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa are set to release their albums this February and March.

Jisoo will also be holding a solo fan meet in Manila later this year.

Since renewing their group contract under YG Entertainment in December 2023, the members have been focusing on their individual careers while preparing for the upcoming world tour.
