Quiboloy transferred from private to public hospital due to pneumonia

Detained Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy will be transferred from a private hospital to a public hospital after being diagnosed with community-acquired pneumonia on Saturday, January 18.

A Pasig City court ordered his transfer effective Thursday, allowing him to remain hospitalized due to health issues.

BJMP confirmed the court order and began processing his discharge for transfer to a public hospital on Friday.

Quiboloy was previously hospitalized multiple times since September for various health concerns, including an irregular heartbeat in November.

The BJMP continues to provide strict security measures during his confinement to ensure he remains under their custody.

Facing non-bailable charges for child abuse, sexual abuse, and qualified trafficking, Quiboloy's hospitalization and transfer are closely monitored by the court.
