BINI members face social media backlash for minor jokes

Three members of P-pop girl group BINI, Jhoanna, Stacey, and Colet, are facing backlash on social media over a video showing them making inappropriate jokes about sexualizing a minor.

The video, posted online by user @BaliLeeg, includes comments from the BINI members that have drawn criticism for being insensitive to issues of grooming and abuse.

Fans expressed disappointment and demanded accountability, with one fans club, Bloom Philippines, calling on the group's management to address the issue seriously.

BINI released an official statement acknowledging their mistake, apologizing sincerely to their fans and the public, and taking full responsibility for their actions and words.

Both Ethan David of P-pop boy group GAT and Shawn Castro also issued separate apologies, emphasizing their respect for women and a commitment to not repeating such behavior.
