Berberabe records first quadruple-double in WMBL

Stefanie Berberabe made history in Philippine basketball by recording the first quadruple-double in the Women's Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (WMBL) on Sunday night.

Berberabe scored 20 points, grabbed 15 rebounds, dished out 10 assists, and secured 10 steals as Tagaytay-Tol defeated Pangasinan-Solar Home with a final score of 82-70.

The former National University guard's performance avenged an earlier loss to the Suns and marked her second game in the tournament following a triple-double last week.

Berberabe, who missed the first four games while playing for Joondalup Wolves in Australia, emphasized that her goal is to help Tagaytay-Tol win each game as they recover from their slow start.

She became only the third player in Philippine professional basketball history to achieve this feat, joining Donbel Belano and Kyt Jimenez, and surpassed Afril Bernardino for the most triple-doubles in WMBL history.
