Ben&Ben clarifies baseless accusations, apologizes to sidelined artists

Filipino folk-pop group Ben&Ben released a clarifying statement on social media addressing longstanding accusations that they caused other acts to be sidelined at events.

The band acknowledged past baseless allegations and expressed their sadness when fellow artist Dwta was unable to perform at FEU's iTam Night 2024 due to organizers' decisions despite the band's management prioritizing ensuring all performers could participate in events.

Ben&Ben emphasized they never intended to sideline other artists, even reaching out to affected artists like Tanya Markova and apologizing on behalf of organizers after incidents like the Camanava grand rally in 2022 where unforeseen delays occurred.

The band provided proof of their actions and hoped for accountability from the right parties involved, including Dwta and FEU's iTam Night organizers who have yet to address Ben&Ben's statements.
