Eleazar: Police to monitor unauthorized beerhouse, bar operations

Joint Task Force COVID Shield has instructed police commanders to monitor beerhouses and bars for unauthorized operations despite the ongoing pandemic.

Police Lieutenant General Guillermo Eleazar noted that some establishments have started accepting customers, which could become 'ground zero of mass infection'.

Eleazar emphasized that under both modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) and general community quarantine (GCQ), such establishments are still prohibited by IATF-MEID guidelines.

He warned that any attempt to accept customers is a violation of these guidelines and local ordinances.
