BCDA targets 60 km of New Clark City roads by year-end

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) expects around 60 kilometers (km) of New Clark City road networks to be completed by the end of 2025.

This year's target represents 40 percent of the planned 148.44-km roads throughout NCC, with Package 2 currently under construction and covering 15.7 km.

BCDA president Joshua Bingcang emphasized the importance of connectivity in attracting investors to Clark, noting its international airport, seaport, and major expressways.

The BCDA will soon open procurement for road packages 3 and 4, totaling 14.2 kilometers, as well as connecting roads for NCC's sports complex, residential area, and river park.

Future projects include a 72.26-km road network with bicycle lanes, pedestrian paths, solar street lights, linear parks, and drainage structures.
