Bayani Casimiro Jr., 'Prinsipe K' star, dies at 57

Comedian Bayani Casimiro Jr., known for his role as Prinsipe K in the 1987 sitcom 'Okay Ka, Fairy Ko!', passed away at age 57 on July 25 due to cardiac arrest.

His sister Marilou confirmed the news and noted that he also starred in several Enteng Kabisote films alongside Vic Sotto.

Casimiro Jr. appeared in multiple installments of the Enteng Kabisote franchise, including 'Enteng Kabisote: Okay Ka, Fairy Ko... The Legend' (2004) and its sequels.

The late comedian's wake is being held at St. Peter's Memorial Chapel in Parañaque City, with cremation scheduled for July 30 at Loyola Memorial Park in the same city.

Casimiro Jr., son of vaudeville star Bayani Casimiro Sr., also appeared in other Sotto projects like 'Fantastic Man,' 'Bakit Ba Ganyan? (Ewan Ko Nga Ba, Darling),' and 'Iskul Bukol: 20 Years After (The Ungasis and Escaleras Adventure).'

He never married or had children and was known for honoring his father by briefly tap dancing each time he entered and exited in the franchise.
