Bato withdraws presidential bid, Go takes over as PDP-Laban candidate

On November 13, Senator Ronald 'Bato' Dela Rosa officially withdrew his presidential bid and was replaced by Senator Christopher Go as the PDP-Laban's candidate.

Dela Rosa cited a party decision for his withdrawal, while Go submitted his candidacy alongside President Duterte at the Commission on Elections.

Dela Rosa had previously offered to step down in favor of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte but she filed her certificate of candidacy for vice president instead.
