BARMM vaccine hesitancy decreasing as religious leaders join drive

Vaccination hesitancy is decreasing in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) as religious and political leaders work to convince residents.

Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim stated that people are seeing no negative effects from vaccines, which has helped reduce hesitancy.

Religious leaders have joined the effort to encourage vaccination, with 7% of the target population partially vaccinated, 18% fully vaccinated, and 62,272 having received booster doses.
