Barbie Forteza skips Taylor Swift concert due to cost

Actress Barbie Forteza, despite being a fan of Taylor Swift, decided not to attend the singer's 'Eras Tour' due to financial considerations.

Barbie explained in an interview with Nelson Canlas on '24 Oras' that it feels like too much of a splurge given her recent expenses related to purchasing a house and traveling internationally would be costly.

The actress expressed that she would be more inclined to watch Swift perform if the concert were held in the Philippines, as attending the tour internationally is expensive.

Forteza thanked fellow Kapuso star Rain Matienzo for buying her concert merchandise from Swift's tour during an interview on GMA’s 24 Oras.

Among the celebrities who watched Swift's record-breaking tour are Anne Curtis, Alexa Ilacad, Alex Gonzaga, and Toni Gonzaga.

Barbie recently starred alongside Rain in 'Maging Sino Ka Man' with David Licauco and is set to appear in 'Pulang Araw' as a bodabil performer.
