BAP appeals for patience amid limited banking services

The Bankers Association of the Philippines (BAP) appealed to the public for patience and understanding regarding limited banking services due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite operating with a skeleton workforce, BAP member banks have kept some branches open, ATMs functional, and financial markets running to ensure the continuity of essential services.

The association expressed support for the government's efforts to contain the virus and assured the public that critical banking services would continue during the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon.
