Bam Aquino drops Senate run to lead Robredo’s campaign

Former senator Paolo Benigno 'Bam' Aquino IV announced on Thursday that he will not run for the Senate in 2022 to serve as Vice President Leni Robredo's campaign manager.

Robredo asked Aquino to be her campaign manager, citing the challenging nature of the election.

Aquino confirmed to Rappler that he would indeed manage Robredo's presidential campaign and forego his own senatorial bid.
