Bacolod City turns over 64 more housing units

The Bacolod City government held a second turnover ceremony for an additional 64 housing units at the Asenso Yuhum Residences in Barangay Vista Alegre on Saturday, March 29.

Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez led the event and congratulated beneficiaries for their investment in what he sees as a valuable asset.

The first batch of 64 occupants received their housing units in Building 1 earlier this year, while a total of 296 buyer-beneficiaries will occupy the four towers approved through the Home Mutual Development Fund (Pag-IBIG).

Each building offers various amenities such as a clubhouse, mini-hospital, skate park with multi-purpose gymnasium, and recreational facilities including a park, swimming pool, basketball court, commercial spaces, and parking lots.

Mayor Benitez also announced plans for further development in the area, including a mini-hospital, transportation access, and a market to support residents.

Beneficiaries expressed their joy at owning homes in Bacolod after years of renting, while others purchased units as investment opportunities.
