Azkals suffer 3-0 loss to Timor-Leste, dimming SEA Games medal hopes

The Philippine men's football team suffered a 3-0 loss to Timor-Leste in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games, severely damaging their medal hopes.

Timor-Leste scored first at the 15th minute mark by Mouzinho Barreto De Lima and added another goal at the 54th minute by Luis Figo Pereira Ribeiro.

The Filipinos conceded a third goal in the 89th minute from Elias Mesquita, leaving them with only one point after three matches and mathematically out of contention for the semifinals.
