UE loses to Ateneo; Momowei suspended for fouls

Precious Momowei, the Nigerian center for the University of East Asia (UE) Red Warriors, will miss their upcoming game against Ateneo due to a one-game suspension following two unsportsmanlike fouls in a previous match.

Despite Momowei's absence, UE lost to Ateneo on Wednesday, November 13, with Jared Bahay scoring crucial points during crunch time for the Blue Eagles.

UE currently holds the third spot in the league standings at 6-7 and is tied with the Growling Tigers, while Adamson University (AdU) also competes for a playoff spot.

Defending champions De La Salle and University of the Philippines have already secured their places in the top three with twice-to-beat advantages, setting up a crucial warm-up match between them on November 13.
