Anyang signs Javi Gomez de Liano, Ian Miller for Jones Cup

Anyang Jung Kwan Jang has signed forward Javi Gomez de Liano and guard Ian Miller for the upcoming Jones Cup tournament in Taiwan from July 12 to 20.

Head coach Charles Tiu praised the additions of both players, highlighting their experience and versatility.

Gomez de Liano, a 6-foot-5 swingman entering his second season with Anyang, averaged 8.4 points and 2.7 rebounds last year.

Miller, an MVP in the Basketball Champions League Asia, brings scoring ability to the backcourt with averages of 17.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 5.6 assists.

The team's roster includes established players like Kiefer Ravena, Rhenz Abando, Jason Brickman, Dave Ildefonso, Ange Kouame, Geo Chiu, and Allen Liwag, aiming to defend their Jones Cup title in a challenging schedule.

Strong Group will play eight games over eight days starting on July 13 against Chinese-Taipei A.
