Año wants PH under Alert Level 1

DILG Secretary Eduardo Año is pushing for the entire Philippines to be placed under Alert Level 1 to ease restrictions and boost economic recovery.

Año stated in a radio interview that placing the whole country under Alert Level 1 would limit restrictions to minimum public health standards, allowing localities to progress.

The government has adjusted requirements for Alert Level 1, reducing the required vaccination rate for senior citizens from 80% to 70%.
