Que wins ICTSI Eagle Ridge Championship for second straight victory

Angelo Que won the ICTSI Eagle Ridge Championship in Cavite, marking his second consecutive victory to start the Philippine Golf Tour season.

Que secured a come-from-behind win by closing with a 70 to edge out Guido van der Valk by two strokes on Thursday, March 13.

After an opening round of 77, Que steadily improved and closed the gap to take the lead in the final stretch, finishing with a four-day total of five-over 293 worth P360,000.

Van der Valk, who had also led in The Country Club Invitational last January before losing in a playoff to Korean Minwook Gwon, finished second at 295 and earned P236,000.

Clyde Mondilla staged an impressive comeback but a double bogey on the par-3 17th dashed his hopes, leaving him with a third-place finish at 296, worth P136,000.
